Former Spurs Man Jamie Redknapp Claims Arsenal Won't Manage Top 4 - 'But it Can Soon Change'

Former Tottenham midfielder and current Sky Sports pundit, Jamie Redknapp, has had his say on how he thinks the Premier League season will end, and it doesn't make for good reading for Arsenal fans.

Pundits are known for making bold predictions, but Redknapp claims that Arsenal won't even make the top four this season, which would be the first time since the 1995/96 season.

Speaking toMetro, the 43 year old said:My top four if I was to pick at the moment is Chelsea, Man City, Tottenham and Man Utd, but it can soon change.

Redknapp seems to think that Arsenal, who are currently in fourth, will be eclipsed by sixth placed Manchester United. Looking at the current form of the top six, you can't really argue with it.

He goes on to say that he believes that United's run of form is inspired by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the superstar free transfer they signed in the summer.

"I can't lie, at the start of the year I thought 'that's a funny signing, will he get in the way of Marcus Rashford? Is he going to stop the development of any young players?

"But the truth it is one of those inspirational signings that happen every so often.

He's the king there at the moment and he has been an inspired signing. Whoever bought him in whether it was Jose Mourinho or the owners, he has been one of the best free transfers ever.

Arsenal have been very hit and miss recently, whereas United haven't lost a league game since October 23. If the season panned out how Redknapp predicts, it wouldn't be a huge surprise.

Just make sure no one tells Arsenal Fan TV.
