Former WAFA defender Henry Oware has helped Lommel SK reach the semifinal of the Belgium Pro League promotion playoff final.
Lommel beat Zulte Waregem and secure their spot in the final in a bid to secure promotion to the Belgium top flight.
The 20-year-old started the game and played the full 90 minutes and emerged as the highest rated player in the match.
Lommel won the reverse fixture 1-0 at the Soeverinstadion on Wednesday night, progressing 2-1 on aggregate after the first leg ended 1-1.
There were no goals in the first half as it ended with both sides unable to find the back of the net.
With 12 minutes to the end of the game, Lommel found the winner through Lucas Schoofs following an assist from Diego Rosa.
The goal was enough to send Lommel through to the final and they will Deinze in the final to fight for a place in the Belgium top flight.
Since joining Lommel in Januarym Oware has been impressive fir them, featuring in 10 games.
