Coach Matthias Jaissle congratulated Ghanaian winger Forson Amankwah for his outstanding performance in FC Liefering's huge victory over Kapfenberger.

In his first appearance for Austrian second-tier side FC Liefering on Friday evening, the on-loan midfielder shone in a 3-0 league victory over Kapfenberger.

Amankwah was named in the starting XI for the first time since making his debut against Lafnitz on April 10th, when he came on in the 89th minute to substitute Daouda Guindo.

With some exciting and cacophonous movements, the former WAFA winger seized the opportunity and was a joy to watch during the game.

In the 27th minute, he skillfully moved through three Kapfenberger players before sending a pass to captain Alex Prass, who scored the game's first goal.

After 72 minutes, Amankwah helped Sesko to score the team's second goal.

"That was a deserved victory in Kapfenberg, also at height! We’ve rotated in one position or another, but it’s always nice to see that the players who haven’t played very much recently integrate seamlessly into the team and sometimes also stand out,"

"I’m especially happy for Forson, who was in the starting XI for the first time and did a very good job!," coach Matthias Jaissle said after the game.
