The head coach for Fortuna Düsseldorf, Uwe Rösler has decided to hand teenager Kelvin Ofori more minutes in pre-season to give him the chance to prepare well for the next football season.

During the 2019/2020 German football season, the Ghanaian international gained promotion from the junior team to the senior team.

Though he only made a couple of appearances in the Bundesliga, he managed to impress and also made a mark in the DFB Pokal as well.

With coach Uwe Rösler planning to rely more on Kelvin Ofori in the upcoming season where Fortuna Düsseldorf will be playing in the German 2. Bundesliga, he has decided to give the 19-year-old more playing time in pre-season.

In the ongoing pre-season training, the forward has been given a personal trainer and has been working on how best to utilize his pace.

He is expected to play a key role for manager Uwe Rösler next season alongside his compatriot Nana Opoku Ampomah if he stays at the end of the transfer window.
