Forward Aaron Seydel out for ten days with a fascia tear

Darmstadt's Aaron Seydel will most likely be sidelined for ten days due to a fascia tear. With his goal to make it 2-1 in the next round of the DFB Cup, the attacker had the Lilies in the cup game against Borussia Mönchengladbach. However, he was forced to leave the field shortly after scoring.

According to coach Torsten Lieberknecht on Thursday, the 1.99 meter tall attacker creates disquiet in the opponent's defenders due to his stature as well as his technical ability.

He regarded the loss as terrible because he had thought that with the recent sense of success, Seydel would have been able to get back on track following the various health concerns.

“We have to do without him now. But we still have a secret weapon," said Lieberknecht.

Aaron Seydel has played seven games and scored one goal this season in the Bundesliga 2.
