"In certain respects we have to take steps, but then it is not wise to throw the entire game plan overboard for one match. It is about how we develop over a whole season and how we perform in 34 games. The match against Ajax is only part of that. We will of course make some adjustments, but we will also stick to what we have been doing for some time," he added.

On winger Patrick Joosten the coach mentioned that he is getting closer to full fitness and is likely to play a role in their encounter with Ajax.

"Patrick Joosten is approaching full fitness. 'But I think he could play for 45 minutes. The decision we have to make is whether we want to start with him, or whether we want to bring him in as a substitute," he ended.
