Former Inter Allies forward Prosper Kasim was on the scoresheet for Birmingham Legion in their 1-2 loss to North Carolina FC in the USL Championship on Thursday.
Nazmi Albadawi scored first for North Carolina after 24 minute, Birmingham Legion equalized after a beautiful low cross from Razak Cromwell found Prosper Kasim in the 59th minute who slotted the ball calmly into the net.
A. Andre Fortune converted a penalty three minutes later to secure all three maximum points for North Carolina FC at the BBVA Field in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Alabama-based Birmingham Legion is still top of Group G despite the defeat.
