Accra Hearts of Oak have named four of their outstanding players for the best player accolade in the month of August.
Kwame Kizito, Winful Cobinna, Patrick Razak and Leanard Tawinah are the players in contention for the award.
Kwame Kizito earned himself a spot for the award after leading the attack of the Phobians, by scoring four times in the month including a last minute equalizer against title contenders Aduana.
Meanwhile, Winful Cobinna has been the club’s livewire with some great performances in the Ghana Premier League. The returnee scored the best goal of the month of August with a belter against Aduana.
Winger Patrick Razak’s has been exciting for the club with his outstanding runs on the flanks, giving full backs trouble in the Ghana Premier League.
The trio were all part of the triumphant WAFU squad, with Cobinna and Kizito ending the tournament with two goals. However Patrick Razak was a star in the final coming off the bench to create three goals.
The final contender for the award is swashbuckling midfielder Leonard Tawiah, he has been ever-present for the club in the center of the pitch displacing expensive signing Malik Akowuah for a starting role.
Fans of the club are expected to vote for the best performer of the month.
