Ghanaian international Francis Abu scored for his FC Nordsjaelland outfit on Sunday afternoon when the team suffered a 2-1 defeat to SønderjyskE Fodbold in the Danish Super Lig.

The teenager earned his third starting role of the 2020/2021 Danish top-flight league campaign today when the team played as a guest to the Matchday 11 opponent at the Sydbank Park.

On the Matchday, Francis Abu excelled throughout the 90 minutes and scored with an assist from Ivan Mesik in the 52nd minute.

Unfortunately, the equalizer was not enough to save FC Nordsjaelland from losing.

Goals from Jeppe Simonsen and Haji Wright meant that SønderjyskE cruised to a 2-1 win at the end of the game to amass all 3 points.

Today’s goal means that Francis Abu has taken his tally to four this season. The 19-year old also has 1 assist to his name and remains a key asset for FC Nordsjaelland.
