Hearts of Oak are considering appointing Frank Nelson as the new General Manager of the club ahead of the next season, according to Kessben FM.

The Phobians are currently without a General Manager following the resignation of Bernard Nana Adu Gyebi, who resigned months ago.

The former Medeama SC Business Development Manager who was appointed to serve as the acting General Manager of the Phobians in October 2022 resigned in the first week of February.

At the moment, the Ghanaian giants are said to be in the haunt for a new General Manager.

According to reports, the club are considering board member, Frank Nelson for the vacant general manager role ahead of next season.

The Phobians endured a torrid 2022/23 season, where Medeama emerged as champions of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians were neck-deep in the relegation battle on the final day of the season, however, the Ghanaian giants managed to survive relegation and stay in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Having won the league two years ago and were back-to-back FA Cup winners, a lot was at stake for the Phobians.

However, the former African champions endured a tough season, sacking two coaches in the course of the campaign.
