Ghana international, Kevin-Prince Boateng has described Hertha Berlin sports director Fredi Bobic as the Lionel Messi of football administration.
The former Black Stars attacker has time and again stressed that he believes Lionel Messi is the greatest footballer in the history of the game.
Reacting to his formal club Eintracht Frankfurt’s success in the Uefa Europa League this season, KP Boateng said praise should be given to former director Fredi Bobic.
According to him, although the sports director is no longer with Frankfurt, he should be applauded for setting the foundation for the team’s triumph this season.
“The fact that Eintracht just won the Europa League is thanks to the foundation that Bobic laid six years ago. Bobic is something like Lionel Messi among sports managers. You have to give him time," KP Boateng said in an interview with news magazine Der Spiegel.
KP Boateng in the past worked with Fredi Bobic at Eintracht Frankfurt from 2016 to 2021. The pair had a good relationship as KP Boateng helped the team to win the DFB Cup.
