Frimpong Manso explains decision to join Bibiani Goldstars

Former Bofoakwa Tano coach Frimpong Manso has explained why he accepted to join Bibiani Goldstars.

Manso, who was recently relieved on his role as the head coach of Bofoakwa Tano has been appointed to lead Bibiani Goldstars, who are struggling in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Miners have been in dismal form this season and are currently in the relegation drop after 13 games into the Ghana Premier League campaign.

With 12 points, Bibiani Goldstars sit 16th position and must play above themselves to avoid demotion to the lower-tier.

They have two wins, six draws and five defeats after 13 games into the Ghanaian top-flight campaign.

Explaining why he joined Goldstars to Takoradi-based West Gold Radio, he said, “Bibiani Goldstars have been consistent since they gained promotion to the Ghana Premier League. In terms of performance, player welfare and others, I think they are one of the best teams you can relied on but it’s just unfortunate things are not going as expected”

Bibiani Goldstars are not in action this weekend. Their game against Dreams FC has been postponed due to the CAF Confederations Cup games.
