Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bibiani Gold Stars, Akwasi Adu, beleives the appointment of Frimpong Manso will inspire the playing body.
The Miners after parting ways with Michael Osei has announced the appointment of Frimpong Manso as the new head coach for the club.
Michael Osei having impressed last season struggled in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season which led to his sack.
However, Akwasi Adu is confident the appointment of Frimpong Manso will give the team a strong finish to the end of the first round.
"You look at the leaders of the league and the team’s (that are) bottom of the table, the points build-up is not so wide that someone can confidently say he/she has won the league," he told Citi Sports.
"If we are to win our next games, our situation at the bottom of the table can be changed to mid-table.
"We still believe that the 21 matches remaining, we can get a good run… and with the new coach coming, it will be a huge motivation for the team.
"I think we are still on course and is possible we can finish the season on a high," he added.
Bibiani Gold Stars, who sit 16th on the league log 12 points were scheduled to play Dreams FC in the matchday 14 game this Sunday, but the game has been rescheduled to a later date due to Dreams’ commitment to the CAF Confederations Cup this season.
