The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has named a seven-member committee to work as the Ghana Premier League Committee to run the upcoming season of the League.
The Exco of the GFA has appointed veteran football administrator MND Jawula as the chairman for the committee and will be deputized by 2016/17 CIMG Marketing Personality Mr. Jesse Agyapong.
The other five members making the full list includes Linda Ansong (Liberty), Dela Senaye (Inter Allies), Francis Adjei (Berekum Chelsea), Mr. Ansah (Dwarfs), and Alhaji Akambi (Hearts).
The committee is replacing the Ghana Premier League Board which used to have representatives from all the participating Clubs from the Division under the old administration.
Meanwhile, the GFA is hoping to convince the clubs to consent to an autonomous league for the 2019/2020 regular season which has been scheduled to start on December 28, 2019.
