Future Iddrisu Baba sale from Mallorca will see Leganes earn 50% of his transfer fee

Footballghana.com can report that Spanish La Liga side Leganes owns 50% of the transfer rights of Ghanaian international Iddrisu Baba.

What that means is that if the midfielder moves from his Real Mallorca side to a different club in the future, Leganes will earn 50% of the transfer fee.

The hardworking middleman joined Mallorca from Leganes in the summer of 2014 and has since then been a revelation for the side.

During the discussions prior to his transfer, his former club managed to bargain for a 50% stake in any future transfer fee of the 23-year-old.

Now gaining grounds in the Spanish La Liga, it is likely that Baba will earn a big-money move very soon. Should that happen, Leganes will swoop in to collect their share.

The Ghanaian currently has a 45 million euros release clause in his contract at RCD Mallorca.
