Despite only recently joining Flamengo on loan, the agent of Gabriel Barbosa insists his client still dreams of featuring for Inter.
The Brazilian will ply his trade in his homeland for another year after completing his move to the Mengao on loan, which comes off the heels of a successful spell at Santos.
Although Gabigol ended the campaign as top scorer he was told to a find a new club by Inter, but his agent Junior Pedroso made it clear his client wants to feature for the Nerazzurri in the future.
“It took 35 days of negotiations [to complete his move to Flamengo]”, he told FCInter1908.it. “Flamengo are one of the best clubs in the world.
“Every player in Brazil dreams of playing for this club. West Ham United wanted to complete a deal quickly, but we weren’t able to reach an agreement.
“Would he ever return to Inter? Certainly, his dream of playing for Inter remains alive.”
Gabigol was limited to just one goal in 10 appearances for Inter during the 2016/17 season.
