Turkish Super Lig outfit, Gaziantep FK have intensified their pursuit of Ghanaian forward Benjamin Tetteh and has decided to rival Yeni Malatyaspor for the signature of the Sparta Prague player.

The Czech giants prior to the start of the 2020/2021 football season loaned the forward to Yeni Malatyaspor.

Having settled instantly at the Turkish club, Benjamin Tetteh managed to impress and established himself as one of the team’s top players throughout the season.

In a campaign where the former Ghana U-23 attacker caught the eyes of a number of clubs, he scored five goals and provided six assists after making 32 appearances.

Even though he has returned to his parent club Sparta Prague, it is understood that Yeni Malatyaspor wants to sign him on a permanent basis this summer.

While they are yet to reach a deal for Benjamin Tetteh, Gaziantep FK has also expressed interest.

The fellow Turkish Super Lig outfit is keen on landing the signature of the player valued 4 million Euro and is refusing to give up despite the interest from Yeni Malatyaspor.
