KRC Genk manager, Van den Brom was left impressed with Ghanaian attacker Joseph Paintsil over the weekend when he climbed off the bench to score for the team in the win against Sint-Truiden VV.

The forward last Sunday was in action for his team when they played as a guest to the matchday opponent of the Belgian Pro League.

Although he missed out on a starting role, he was introduced in the second half while KRC Genk was trailing by a goal to nil.

He immediately had an impact and scored to inspire the visitors to cruise to a 2-1 win at the end of the game.

He added, “He [Joseph Paintsil] comes from far. But we know his qualities.”

Gradually, Joseph Paintsil is finding his feet at KRC Genk and is fighting to earn a big role at the club.
