Gent shot-stopper Thomas Kaminski heaps praise on Ghanaian youngster Jeremy Doku

KAA Gent goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski has heaped praise on Ghana and Anderlecht youngster Jeremy Doku following his mouthwatering display on Friday.

The 17-year-old put up a Man of the Match performance as he helped Anderlecht to a 1-1 draw against Gent at the KAA Gent Stadium.

Anderlecht took the lead in the 16th minute courtesy Antine Collassin strike but Gent leveled from the spot through Jonathan David as both sides shared the spoils.

Doku was substituted in the dying embers of the game by Edo Kayembe.

"The two of us hurt us. Amuzu on the other hand too. But Doku, yes, I don’t think I’ve seen a player in Belgium with those qualities. Normally the opponents are behind our backs, now they were mostly behind approach him. Never seen it!" says Kaminski.

The highly-rated youngster Doku has been featuring regularly for the Belgian-based outfit, scoring one goal and assisting a further two in 18 league matches.
