Asante Kotoko General Manager, George Amoako has disclosed that his outfit is ahead of most Ghana Premier League clubs ahead of the commencement of the news season on Friday.
Amoako is confident the Porcupine Warriors will win the 2019/20 GPL title due to their consistent preparation and participation in the Africa club competitions.
"For the League we have to be patient because the other teams are also preparing", the Executive council member told reporters after they defeated Hearts of Oak in the 2019 President Cup on Sunday.
"We should be ahead of most clubs because of our participation in Africa club competition.
"Our preparation has been consistent so its gives us an advantage. I confidently believe this league is for us", he added.
Asante Kotoko will open their league campaign at the Baba Yara stadium against Techiman Eleven this weekend.
