George Apronti: Inter Allies goalkeeper returns from injury for King Fails clash this weekend

Goalkeeper for Inter Allies, George Apronti has made a swift recovery from a dangerous injury he sustained while in action for his side against Great Olympics last weekend.

In a Match Week 6 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season, the highly-rated shot stopped was in the post for the Tema-based side to fight for 3 points.

After 18 minutes of action in the first half, he had to be substituted when he collided with an attacker of the opposing team.

While there were fears he would be required to spend weeks on the sidelines, he has today been declared fit to play by the medical team of Inter Allies.

George Apronti will now train with the team from now till Friday and is in contention to feature in his team’s next match in the Ghana Premier League which will be against King Faisal.
