George Ofosu scored for Varzim SC in the Portugal Segunda Liga but that was not enough to get the win for his team away at Sporting Covilha on Saturday afternoon.
The Póvoa de Varzim-based club scored first in the 19 minute of the first half through George Ofosu.
The first half ended with no additional goals scored by both teams the first half battle was centered in midfield.
After recess Sporting Covilha equalized through Felipe Cardoso in the 68th minute to give the team hope for a comeback.
Varzim SC's André Micael scored an own goal to give all three points to Sporting Covilha in the 83rd minute.
Varzim SC's next game game will be at home to Academica Coimbra in the Portugal's Segunda Liga.
