Ghanaian international, Roberto Massimo has returned to training at German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart ahead of the team’s final match of the ongoing season against FC Köln.

Due to a back injury, the midfielder was not in action for his club last weekend when the team drew 2-2 against champions Bayern Munich.

However, after making progress in the treatment room, Roberto Massimo has started individual training in the last couple of days.

Today, sources say he is already looking good and may pass a late fitness test in order to be available for the clash against FC Köln.

VfB Stuttgart at the moment is in danger of suffering relegation and must win the final game of the season at all costs to ensure it survives the drop.

If youngster Roberto Massimo is declared fit on Friday, it will give Stuttgart a huge boost for the season finale.

The clash between VfB Stuttgart and FC Köln is scheduled to be played on Saturday and will kick off at 15:30GMT.
