German club, TSG Backnang have completed the signing of Ghanaian international Andrew Owusu.
The club that competes in the German Verbandsliga Württemberg has sealed the signing of the young midfielder to strengthen the squad of the team for the 2023/24 football season.
Andrew Owusu, 23 has been signed from Austrian club Dornbirner on a free transfer.
The central midfielder while in Austria played well for Dornbirner where he made 59 appearances in the regional league.
He has now joined TSG Backnang and will hope to help the new club to achieve its goals.
In addition, Andrew Owusu is eager to get started and has set sights on working hard to continue his development as a player.
"Andrew made an excellent impression in training this week. He has incredible speed, is technically adept, and is good at winning the ball. We don't currently have a type of player that he embodies in the squad," sporting director of TSG Marc Erdmann said after Andrew Owusu was signed.
