GFA boss Kurt Okraku anticipating exciting 2020/21 season

Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku is anticipating an exciting 2020/21 season which kicks off later this month at various stadia across the country.

The Premier League is slated on the weekend of November 14-15, 2020.

The second tier competition, Division One League kicks off on December 3, 2020, while the Women’s Premier League is set to kick off on January 2, 2021.

"We're starting football amid COVID-19. We want to show that football can help us win the battle against COVID-19. I think we are going to have an exciting season because the indicators are clear," Kurt Okraku told Hello FM.

"All the clubs are ready for the big comeback of football. If you visit the clubs you will see that they are preparing for the commencement of the season."

"We're very positive for the upcoming season. We will see a lot of talents and the coaches too are working."

The upcoming season is expected to run through till the weekend of July 16-18, 2021.
