GFA capo Kurt Okraku to watch WAFU Zone B Women's CL final in Ivory Coast today

President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has arrived in Ivory Coast for the finals of the 2024 WAFU B CAF Women's Champions League slated for Friday August 23, 2024.

Okraku, who doubles as the president of WAFU B will be in attendance when Nigerian outfit Edo Queens takes on Ainonvi FC of Benin in neighboring country at the Stade de la Paix, Bouake.

Ainonvi FC's journey to the final was marked by a 1-0 victory over Burkina Faso's A.O Etincelle, while Edo Queens, the Nigerian representatives, secured their place in the final with a hard-fought 2-1 triumph over host club Inter D'Abidjan.

Kurt Okraku boss held discussions with Zone B Executive Director Phillip Tchere and Executive Director of the Federation Ivoirienne de Football (FIF), Armand Desire Gohourou, on the state of affairs at the WAFU B Secretariat and preparations for upcoming competitions.

President Simeon-Okraku, watched the third-placed match on Thursday August 22, 2024, where Inter D'Abidjan overcame A.O Etincelle 1-0 to clinch bronze.
