GFA locked in discussions with Government's advisory team

The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has confirmed that the body is still in discussions with the government's advisory team on the safest way to bring Ghana football back.

The Ghana Premier League together with other leagues have been suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and Nana Akuffo Addo, the president of Ghana extended the suspension to July 31st of this year.

In the past few weeks, it was reported that the GFA have sent proposals to the government regarding the best way to bring football back safely.

Kurt Okraku in his update to club and corporate heads confirmed this and added that discussions are still ongoing with the advisory team.
