GFA must review scheduling of Ghana Premier League games - FC Samartex chief Paul Anyaba

FC Samartex 1996 Business Development Manager, Paul Anyaba, has called on the leadership of the Ghana Football Association [GFA] and football stakeholders must review the scheduling of games.

The ongoing season has witnessed poor attendance at the various stadia.

Speaking to Citi Sports, Anyaba says stakeholders are responsible for the low attendance.

“Our-Samartex- position is that all of us have distinct roles to play in order to have a solution. The GFA will have to look at the scheduling of games.

"If Liverpool is playing Manchester United at 3 PM and you also have your biggest fixture, Hearts of Oak playing Kotoko, you should know that it is going to affect us. I think the GFA must be proactive and I don’t think it is within the powers of the clubs to be doing it," he added.

FC Samartex is competing in Ghana’s top flight for the first time and drew goalless with Great Olympics to rank ninth in the 18-team league standings.
