GFA President reaches out to traditional council in Prampram in effort to stop demonstrations

Kurt Okraku, the president of the GFA made an effort to calm things after a four hour demonstration was made over Ghana FA decision to donate Ghanaman soccer center of excellence to the Government of Ghana for use as COVID-19 Isolation center.

The demonstration went on for four hours before the GFA president arrived to calm things down.

He met with the traditional council on Sunday in Prampram to make discussions which lasted for almost one hour before it was rescheduled to Monday, April 13.

The members of the traditional council were part of the protest against the use of the Ghanaman soccer centre of excellence as one of Ghana’s COVID-19 Isolation centers.
