Ghana Football Association has proposed a budget of $10.8M to the Government for the organisation of the 2019/20 Premier League.

According to reports, the Ghana Premier League was allotted a mouthwatering $2.8M to help cover the organisation of the new season.

This move by the FA was necessitated by the fact corporate Ghana have not been forthcoming with their bid to sponsor the upcoming domestic competitions.

Moreover, the Ministry of Youth and Sports sponsored the Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee Special competition and the new administration is seeking to get the ministry to do the same for the 2019/2020 season.

The FA is hopeful of receiving a positive feedback from the Sports Ministry as the start of the new season draws nearer.
