The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has disclosed that they will be unveiling the broadcast partners for the various league competitions in the 2019/2020 domestic football season next week.

The local leagues are returning after a year absence due to an Anas Aremeyaw Anas number 12 video that crippled the country's football association and also brought the name of the game into disrepute.

Fast forward, there is a new GFA administration that is looking to rebrand and see to the rise of football and the local league in the country.

Ahead of the commencement of the various leagues, they opened the floor for broadcasters to bid for the right to telecast the matches.

Having received a number of bids, the GFA has been evaluating to decide on the best one in the last couple of weeks. In a press release today, the body has noted that they will finally announce the Broadcast partners for the leagues next week.

"The Ghana Football Association wishes to inform its stakeholders that at the end of the deadline for submission of bids for Television Broadcast Rights of the various GFA-organised competitions, the GFA received bids from seven organizations for the television rights", the release said.

It continued, "The GFA has since been evaluating the bids and it will announce a decision next week".
