GFA to hold 25th ‘Ordinary Congress’ tomorrow

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that it will hold its 25th Ordinary session of Congress tomorrow at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) at Prampram.

The gathering which will be the first under new FA president Kurt Okraku and his Executive Council will see participants deliberating on several issues concerning the return of the domestic football season.

In a communique published by the GFA on their official website, they have outlined the key agenda for tomorrow’s Congress.

They include;

1: Appointment of Independent Committees members for a four-year mandate as required by the GFA Statutes:

Ethics Committee

Disciplinary Committee

Appeals Committee

Elections Committee

2: Election of the final member from the Regional Football Association (RFA) between Central regional RFA chairman, Robert Duncan and the Upper East RFA chairman, Salifu Zida.

The Congress will commence at 09:00GMT and will likely eat deep into the evening.
