The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has indicated that it has provided FIFA with all the necessary information requested from member associations ahead of the disbursement of the Emergency Covid-19 Fund.

In the wake of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic which continues to trouble the world, FIFA is set to provide financial supports to member associations to support clubs amongst other things unlike the $500,000 being shared to cover the operational cost of the various associations.

In a letter to club owners and CEO, GFA boss Kurt Okraku has informed them that the association has complied with all the requirements from the world football governing body and are now waiting for feedback as to how much and when they will receive the cash from the Covid19 emergency fund.

"The association is, therefore, waiting for the FIFA Committee in charge of managing this fund to have their meeting and decide the quantum of money due the GFA and when it would be released", Mr. Okraku said in his letter.
