The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has unveiled the glittering trophy for the G 6 preseason tournament.
The tournament which features the top 6 teams in Ghana battling each other for superiority will start on the 13 of November and conclude on December 4.
The G 6 tournament replaced the traditional top four and is expected to be a curtain raiser to the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League season. Asante Kotoko are defending champions and will be joined by arch-rivals Hearts of oak.
However, Medeama who made a significant impact on the continent last season are a doubt, despite placing fourth in the league. The Tarkwa based club claim they are broke financially and would not be able to participate.
FA Cup winners Bechem United and league runners-up Aduana are the other teams to participate. League Champions Wa All stars will be looking at adding another trophy to their historic achievement when they also feature in the competition.
