Pay TV channel StarTimes and The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) have signed a four year agreement which grants the channel the broadcasting rights to all GHALCA competitions.

The deal will grant the Chinese pay TV service operators the rights to cover all GHALCA activities starting with the impending GHALCA G6 competition and the Annual President's Cup next year.

The details of the agreement will be announced next week but sources indicate that StarTimes will pay GHALCA $25,000 each year to cover the G6 tournament and the President's Cup.

StarTimes was launched in October in Ghana with a vision to make Pay-TV affordable for every African family.
