Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo is expected to feature for Ghana after being named in the 29-man squad for the upcoming international friendly matches against Brazil and Nicaragua.

Semenyo has been one of the standout players at the Championship side this season despite returning from injury.

He has scored three goals in four appearances from the substitute bench.

The 22-year-old made his Black Stars debut in a 3-0 victory over Madagascar in the opening group game of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers but his call-up was cut short after sustaining a shin injury in June.

Semenyo then returned to Bristol City to undergo his rehabilitation after it ruled him out of pre-season. He returned from the bench in a 20-minute cameo against Wycombe in the Carabao Cup.

Ghana will play Brazil on Friday, September 23, at Stade Oceane in Le Harve- France before taking on Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
