Ghana attacker Benjamin Tetteh ruled out of action for six weeks after latest injury

Ghana forward Benjamin Tetteh is set to spend weeks on the sidelines after picking up an injury in Turkey, footballghana.com can report.

Prior to the internship break, the Yeni Malatyaspor striker featured for his team in the game against Başakşehir.

Unfortunately, he suffered a muscle injury in that match and hence had to pass on an invitation to the Black Stars for matches in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Following a further assessment, Öznur Kablo who is club doctor for Yeni Malatyaspor has provided an update.

“As a result of the detailed examinations and examinations of Tetteh, who had to leave the game after being injured in the Başakşehir FK match, a tear was detected in the back of his right thigh and his treatment was started.

“It is foreseen that our football player will stay away from the fields for 4-6 weeks,” he said.
