Ghana’s senior national women’s team the Black Queens have been sidelined by the Confederation of Africa Football CAF at this years African Games to be staged in Morocco.
This was made known after the results of the draw for the All Africa Games Rabat 2019 Football (Men, Women), conducted Monday, June 10, 2019 in Cairo.
Surprisingly Ghana did not make the list of qualified countries per the rules governing the tournament.
The Confederation of African football picked all countries that qualified for the 2018 Total African Women’s Cup Of Nations with the exception of host country Ghana.
Morocco being the host in this year’s tournament have replaced Ghana.
