Ghana Black Starlets to play Côte d’Ivoire in AJC final qualifier

Ghana Black Starlets will face their counterparts from Cote d’ Ivoire in the final qualifier for the Africa U-17 Championship that will be staged in Madagascar.

The Black Starlet eliminated Burkina Faso on 6:5 aggregates and will now play their West African neighbors in the final qualifier.

Ivory Coast knocked out Benin on a 4:1 aggregates score to progress to the final round of qualifiers.

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin and his boys will be hoping to make it to next year’s competition which kicks start from April 2, 2017.

Ghana missed out in the last edition of the competition after fielding an unqualified player against Cameroon.

The Black Starlets will host their counterparts in the first leg match at the newly built Cape Coast Stadium on September 16.
