Ghana captain Andre Ayew has advised Black Stars new players to serve wholeheartedly after agreeing to feature for their native country.

Five new players recently switched allegiance to play for the West African powerhouse ahead of the World Cup.

They include, Inaki Williams, Stephen Ambrosius, Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer, Patric Pfeiffer and Tariq Lamptey.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Salisu who was dragging his feet to play for Ghana has accepted to feature for the Black Stars.

There has been talks about the players only switching nationality to play for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year and not because they are ready to die for the nation.

“First of all, the fact that they considered themselves as Ghanaians and are ready to play for Ghana means they are welcome,”

“We’ll open the door for anybody that can help us to achieve something and for the long term is welcome.

“They should come with the right heart and the right idea and everyone will welcome them into the team,” he added.
