Ghana international Andre Ayew has eulogized Le Havre fans for the massive support in their narrow win over Toulouse on Sunday.

The Black Stars skipper was handed a starting role when his outfit inflicted a 1-0 win over their opponent in the week 25 of the French Ligue 1.

Ayew made a good account of himself before he was subbed off in the 87th minute mark of the game.

The first half of the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net.

But Christopher Operi fired home the winner in the 66th minute mark to secure all points at stake for the host.

After the game, Ayew took to social media to commend the fans for the support.

“+3 thank you to the supporters for the atmosphere today!! We continue” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Ayew joined Le Havre in November as a free agent on a short term deal and has since established himself as a key member of the team.

The 34-year-old has bagged two goals after 11 appearances for the Ligue 1 club since his arrival.
