Ghana international, Andre Ayew was on the score sheet for his Al-Sadd SC side on Friday evening and helped the team to qualify for the semi-finals of the Ooredoo Cup.

The final Group A match of the group stages of the tournament was played yesterday at the Qatar University Pitch 4.

In a clash against Qatar SC, Andre Ayew started the game for AL Sadd and needed just 10 minutes to get on the scoresheet.

Subsequently, in the 38th minute, Rodrigo Tabata also scored to double the lead for Al-Sadd SC.

Despite the advantage at halftime, the visiting team could not finish off the game as Qatar SC returned from recess to come from behind to win 3-2 at the end of the contest.
