Ghana international, Andre Ayew put up a fine performance on Tuesday to help his Al-Sadd SC side to record an important win.
The attacker was handed a starting role this evening when the team locked horns with Al Sailiya in the Qatari Stars League.
In a game serving as a Round 5 game of the 2022/23 football season, Andre Ayew capitalised on a good chance in the 17th minute and scored to give Al-Sadd SC a deserved lead.
Although the team will continue to dominate the game, the hosts equalised in injury time of the first half as both teams went into the break on level pegging.
After recess, both teams played well but it was striker Baghdad Bounedjah who netted the winning goal for Al-Sadd SC.
Courtesy of his goal today, Andre Ayew now has one assist and one goal after making five appearances in the Qatari Stars League.
