Ghana skipper Andre Dede Ayew has won Swansea City's top goal scorer award for the 2020-21 Championship season.

The 31-year-old enjoyed another fine season for the Swans, and the Ghanaian took home the award after netting 17 times across the campaign.

Ayew came up with plenty of magical moments in 2020-21, including superb strikes against Millwall and Barnsley in the play-off semi-final.

Meanwhile, according to reports, Ayew is set to team up with his manager, Steve Cooper at Premier League side, Crystal Palace next season.

He is set to leave the Championship side after failing to book a Premier League qualification.

The Swans lost 2-0 to Brentford in the final playoff at Wembley.

Cooper has made his intention clear to bring the FIFA U-20 World Cup winner to Selhurst Park should he be given the nod.

He is currently leading the race to become the next manager of the club.

Andre and Cooper both have a great relationship but their could not propel Swans back to the Premier League.

Also, the prospect of playing with his brother Jordan is a major factor for Andre to join Crystal Place if Cooper lands the job.
