The strike picked a knock in the first leg and could not complete Friday’s games as he was replace by Thomas Agyepong in the second half.

The Black Stars were held at home by a stubborn Congolese side. Thievy Bifouma scored in the 17th minute for Congo before Thomas Partey grabbed the equalizer with just five minutes to end the game.

Gyan who has struggled with fitness looks likely to miss the second leg  following his early substitution on Friday.

''I don't know but I will go for a scan tomorrow (Saturday) because I'm feeling a bit of pain in my groin. I think I over-stretched so the scan is going determine whether I can play or not,'' he said after the game.

Ghana will travel to Brazzaville for the second leg on Tuesday.

The Black Stars are already without striker Raphael Dwamena and Isaac Sackey.
