The Black Stars are set to play against Tunisia in the Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 this July 8th in Egypt.

Ghana finished in the first position of Group F in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations that’s being played in Egypt.

The team drew against Benin and Cameroon but defeated Guinea-Bissau 2-0 in the last group match to advance to the Round of 16 of the competition.

Which is why many have criticized the team, saying the barely did the minimum to qualify to the next round where they are set to play against Tunisia.

“When you’re criticized, you learn from it and then you make sure you do the right thing,” Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah told Goal.

“I do the best I can to win all the matches but in the end, you still have people who hate you or are jealous of you. I really don’t know.”

He explained: “If you are a coach or a player and you are afraid of criticism then you should stop playing.”

“People will say all sort of things but the most important thing is you deliver.”
