Ghana coach Otto Addo has revealed that he will be considering playing Mohammed Kudus as a false nine ahead of their upcoming friendly against Brazil on Friday.

The 22-year-old is in hot red hot form, having set a new career best record by scoring for the fifth consecutive game in Ajax's 2-1 defeat to AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie last Sunday.

Kudus has scored six goals in his last five matches for Ajax in all competitions.

"We have all kinds of ideas for so many players besides Kudus. [False nine] could be an option but there are so many other options for him,” coach Addo said in his pre-match press conference.

“Surely we won’t talk about tactical things before our matches or before the World Cup but anything can happen.”

He added, "For me, it’s not a big surprise because we know him very well. I know him very well and I am just happy that he is now a part of the starting 11 at Ajax."

Ghana will take on Brazil on Friday, September 23 in Le Harve before travelling to Spain to face Nicaragua on Tuesday, September 27 in Lorca.
