Ghana international Alexander Djiku has been named the January player of the month at Racing Strasbourg following his outstanding performance for the team.
The centre-back has this season displayed top form and continues to consecutively help his team pick crucial points in the French Ligue 1.
In the month of January, Alexander Djiku helped Racing Strasbourg to win three matches while drawing and losing one respectively.
Assessing the top performers of the team at the end of January, Alexander Djiku was shortlisted amongst the best.
At the end of the voting by the fans of Racing Strasbourg, the Black Stars defender has been voted the January player of the month at the French Ligue 1 club.
The centre-back takes over from Mohamed Simakan who won the December player of the month at Racing Strasbourg.
