Ghana defender, Alexander Djiku has been named in the French Ligue 1 Team of the Week.
The 26-year-old was on the verge of leaving the club this summer but his move to German side, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim but the deal fell through.
Having returned to the club, Djiku has cemented his place in the team.
In the Round 5 games of the Ligue 1, FC Strasbourg lasted the entire duration of the game as they drew 1-1 with FC Nantes.
Djiku put up a decent performance for his side.
In the Team of the Week made up of Messi, Verratti, and other players, the Ghana international also made the team.
Djiku has so far made five appearances for the side and has scored a goal in the process.
He is expected to make Ghana's squad for the 2022 World Cup scheduled to be hosted in Qatar later this year.
