Ghana international Alexander Djiku has shared his excitement after helping Fenerbache to secure victory in Turkish Super Lig opening day.
The Black Stars defender started and lasted the entire duration when his outfit inflicted a 2-1 win over Gaziantep on Sunday at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Spor Kompleksi.
Djiku, who joined Fenerbache this summer produced an impressive performance to help his side secure the three maximum points on home turf.
After the game, the former Strasbourg defender took to social media to share his excitement whiles he express gratitude to the fans for the unflinching support.

Bosnian international Edin Dzeko scored a brace to help Fenervache merit the three maximum points.
The former Inter Milan opened the scoring for his outfit after just three minutes into the encounter with a great strike. He doubled his side lead in the 19th minute but Gaziantep managed to get the consolation goal in added time of the first half through a strike from Arda Kizildag.
With no additional goal, Fenerbache cruised to victory to merit the points at stake.
Following a good outing on his Turkish Super Lig debut, Alexander Djiku is expected to maintain his spot in the back four of Fenerbache in upcoming games.
